Questions

QUESTIONS.

Why do people ask so many questions
When there are no answers anyway?
An’ why do they make suggestions
Of what other people have to say?
Why are they told to move
When they can only stay?
An’ why don’t anybody approve
Of the people they betray?

If you are in doubt
Can you figure out what it’s all about?
If you wanna see the latest show
Would you know where to go?
Are you a man or a mouse
If you don’t build a house?
Would you be hesitant
Or go an’ see the president?

When you give somebody the boot
Do you know which way to shoot?
Would you sneeze or cough
When you finish somebody off?
Who will be lost
An’ what are the costs?
Do you feel remorse
When somebody’s suffered a loss?

Do you know what it’s all about
When you hear somebody shout?

If it seems to be too loud?

D’you appreciate what he wants to give?

If you look at a picture
Do you feel you get a lecture?
An’ when you hear the music
Does that make you sick?
An’ when you recieve a bill
Does that make you feel a little ill?
An’ when you hold your mate
Don’t you love your fate?

You may have seen a little of it all
You are not likely to fall.
You know how to call
You are not likely to stall.
So when you go to a ball
You are welcomed in the hall.
But have you held a doll
Up against a wall?

Why do people ask so many questions
When there are no answers anyway?
An’ why do they make suggestions
Of what other people have to say?
